It's wrong on many levels. Having pounds of lead stuck in your intestines is pretty clear evidence it's bad. Just another way to kill the resource.

With all due respect, there are LOTS of things going on out there that are bad for all fish !
It's a VERY small percentage of guys who yo yo

You going to tell me all the yahoos casting light tackle (with your plugs) for school tuna is good for the tuna resources ???
