I thought they were gonna hit seperately- Regardless, is this the weather event that is gonna kick-off the fall run?

The fall run's been kicked off in the Canal for almost two weeks now. You're late to the party up your way.

It was just drizzling here. Then it stopped. I guess it's here and staying for a couple of days. Those fishies are deep now. probably won't get any until Sunday. If we're lucky.

Cool- can I get a pole# from you Mike?
Seriously, I have not seen the typical feeds/blitzes in any of my usual haunts. There is some bait in and around the area but the only bigger fish I see are being taken by the local sharpies at first light- not a fall pattern. Ask any of the North Shore guys what type of year we have experienced and you will (in most cases) get the same answer.

i wouldn't expect a big fall run on the north shore this year. take a look at all the reports from north of us, not as many fish as usual came north this year. there are lots of quality fish around now, as there have been for about 1.5 months, but they are resident fish (for lack of a better term) and have to be targeted as such. this storm may kick off a run, but it will be south of us IMO. this is obviously just my opinion, and i hope i'm wrong.
