My post after Spences post was meant to be somewhat tongue in cheek. Do I believe Obama would do things like that; NO. Do I think he would sit idlely by and let it happen;NO.
After 9/11 I can't see a demonstration being held and tolerated anywhere in the USA like that. Prior to 9/11 it would have been upheld under the right to assemble. Not now though. I believe the permit would be declined for safety issues on the demonstrators part.
Is there hate and bigotry here in the US ? You bet. And there will be with some for the rest of their days. Especially for religious fanatics who seek to destroy the western culture.
