Thanks, BassDawg
Hadn't really thought about it but if anyone wants to donate something in Habs name to go to the charity Jessie Haberek has chosen, they could probably send it directly to Jess at the Habratory's PO box in Smithfield.
I have one of John's old cards, I just want to double check to make sure the PO box # is the same - I'll post it as soon as I find out.
Thanks again!

You know, stuff like nets, tranquilizer darts...

John do those of us who have registered thru PayPal need to bring a receipt to a weigh station to enter a fish or pick up our pins?

Yes - any of the three weigh stations will then issue you a ticket to be filled out which has to be presented in order to weigh in your fish and they will also give you one of the nice enameled Habs pins -
Thanks, Dad818 - good luck, look forward to seeing you!

Thank YOU. This is a great idea and though I never had the pleasure of meeting John personally, I feel like I have reading from everyone what a great man he was. I look forward to this tournament for years and years to come.

Wow!
I can't believe the Tourney Kick-Off Meet and Greet is just about a week away
The good news is, things have been falling into place (well, so far, anyway - knock knock knock knock knock on wood...)
The Meet and Greet is gonna be a blast - but I just want to keep on top of it and get a count as of today, Thursday, October 2nd -
So far:
Jim Sylvester - 1
tynan19 - 2
Mr and Mrs Crafty - 2
Jake and Elwood Jude (Joe and Jeff) - 2
Clammer (Ready standby) - 1
redlite - 2
JohnR - 2
Clogston29 - 1
nklinesider - 1
Peter Lajoie - 1
Paul R -1
Uncle Rob - 1
bassballer - 2
angler 229 - 1
skylarker - 1
DZ - 1
Fish-Addict - 1
rickhern - 2
That's 25 - and I know a bunch that haven't chimed in yet.
Hey, if you guys are coming and haven't spoken up yet, please do it soon so I can get a number to Komes and Lisa to give them an idea of what to expect and make sure they're all set for us with plenty of chowder, clamcakes and prime rib - it's not a reservation thing, just want it to go smooth for my buds in the kitchen at Flo's
Oh man, I'm dyin' for a big cut of prime (I missed lunch today, which doesn't help me much as I type, either) But if you're not a Big Beef person like me, there's also plenty of excellent seafood choices at great prices, too -
So da countdown is on - I'm psyched to get it started, it's gonna be goooood.
Oh and......uh......rumor has it that the fishing is finally starting to light up a wee bit
