Last three trips for me:
Sun am 10/12 - 30# and 36#.. only 2 fish I got, but good ones
Mon am 10/13 - 4 fish in the low-mid 20# class
Thurs am 10/16- 1 fish about 17#
Saturday am(tomorrow)...tbd...still looking for one last good fish.
This week last year was just silly for real large fish. Its amazing how things change from one year to the next.

Fall fishing is the best
I'm glad I went last night, got my best of the year so far = 37 lbs
I could name the spot and it would not matter today because the fish move this time of year, I will say it was NOT from my usual spot.
Luck and timing have more to do with being successful for me this time of year, and use common sense. Get out there, ya can't catch from the computer

I'll be heading out in my tin boat at early dawn tomorrow. Nutin like zipping along at 20 in an open boat with the temp in the low 30's. I must be deranged. Going to have to remember my mittens with the string attached so they don't fall over board

It will be in the high 30's where I'm heading tonight and the wind should drop enough so it will be somewhat comfortable. Hopefully I'll be able to "earn" a couple tonight because I'll be hanging it up pretty soon. I still think there's some good fishing to be had on the Cape and definitely in RI.
