I do hear what you're saying, but the area I think you may be talking about is not where I was. Though re-reading my post I could see how some could make a wild 'guess' that is was there. I'm pretty certain there was cloud cover in that area that night over there anyways so the real good detectives would know that.

Saturday 12am-5am= zero

Today 3am-7am= bunch of micros and a 15# fish on top. Nothing on eels in the dark though.

Still a few good ones taken the last few days by some friends up into the mid 30's.

I'm sticking with my assessment...its over for large quantities of large fish.

Patience and wherewithal required from here on in. Single big fish, small pods of fish, and micros on top to finish the year. I'm ready to hang it up for 2008, save for one or two last minute commando trips...

It's not the bait
