Growing old is a terrible thing. Never skip your meds, you'll end up paying for it. Enjoy the day regardless, be thankful you can still complain

Yea and I'm only 38
This is one of those dumb injuries anyway. I smashed a toe and instead of resting it decided to go on a three day business trip to Charleston, SC.
That was a mistake.
All things considered, it isn't all that bad. I will heal.

With hindsight I should have planted my ass on the couch and stayed home. It wasn't even the bad toe, it was walking on my heel for a week that strained the other side of my foot. The secondary injury is now the bigger problem!
Imagine, drop a kids skateboard helmet on your foot and a week and a 1/2 later have 5 , count 'em FIVE prescriptions and crutches

Spence is 38 going on 72. He makes me feel young and I'm 61.
Jeff, sorry to hear about the mishap. Hope you, Danna and Griffie have a great day in newport. If it were Christmas I'd invite you to "The Farm" for one of the 9 bonfires I have ready to go.
Off to one of my sister-in-laws. No kids visiting this year so Jeanne and I will have a quiet dinner with her family.

Just got home from delivering turkey dinners for less fortunate people Something we started a few years back.
Just cooking my own food now it should be ready soon! Minus the famous Eastham turnips I eat last week. Try them if you never have and you will thank me!
I wish everyone a Happy Day!
Larry that's a huge bird ...lol

Its alot smaller now Peter!
I have to say I am quite pleased with myself this year! The true flavor of Thanksgiving to me has always been in my Dad's gravy! He just made the most delicious gravy I have ever had! After he passed away it was left to me to try to replicate it and I have tried now for 8 years......this year I nailed it! It came out over the top perfect!!! He would be proud!
