Nice fish Roy. I thought I was the only one using swimmers for trout. Is that chartreuse? I've had a lot of luck over the years with chart. rapalas.

I wasn't sure if it was a commonly used method, but it works for me.

No it's not common for guys to target trout that way, but during certain times of the year one can do some damages. Not sure what that color was...It's kind of a pearl olive with a little green. Mike painted me up some for smallies, but once the Striper season started.......Living so close to the Canal made it hard to do anything but saltwater for me.....So this was my late atempt at throwing the big swimmers in the salt. The rapalas or broken back rebels are my favorite by far.......Tho I feel like a big old Brown in the double digits would just rather eat some thing bigger if he can.

here's some pics of a few more browns and a nice 4lb+ Tiger all on rapalas

A few more...That female was load with eggs which I kept to use for fishing the rivers for landlocks and Up-state Ny if I make it up there this year. Worked out well since I took a new Pb landlock which weighed in at 7lb 6oz from the still river

Still River? Are you up in my neck of the woods at Wachusett? You can catch nice fish all year round in the Quinny & Still.
