J Powers and I are currently negotiating with the Corps of Engineers on establishing a parking concession at the various lots along the Canal, to help alieviate the Federal budget crunch. There is already talk of not prinitng hard copies of the Canal tide charts for 2009. Stay tuned as free parking may be a thing of the past, if this flies

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
