I saw the ice storm on the news - the last time I saw anything like that in RI was about a week before the blizzard of 78. Back then I was 13 and wayward - Yeeee Haaaa!
Looking back I'm glad I was a kid and not an adult for that storm.

Lucked out with just rain at my house but 25 minutes away I have a sister and some friends that got nailed with the ice (hilltowns). They are saying possibly no power until the 20th
Sis says the tress that didnt snap by friday are now snapping every time the wind blows.....
Co-worker in Sterling are still out, wires are on the ground,no sign of improvement, 38F in the house yesterday, pipes frozen, area looks like a microburst hit it.
