There is a 10ft rated 3-6 oz. I planned on tossing my heavier surface plugs and jigging in the canal with it. I don't know if they make a rod that will cast a 12 pound eel.

the Limited Lifetime Over-The-Counter Replacement Warranty what dose it entail that's a pricey stick for the price G-Loomis has a no question asked warranty and St.Croix warranty is good

Understand that the guides on this rod are Fuji Lowriders (LC) which typically have a 20mm gatherer guide.

I personally love the Lowriders but I know the prevailing wisdom in the NE is for spinners to be more traditionally rung.
