Nice pic, very informative. Look at the rip line coming off the point by the lighthouse. Look how fast the beach drops off.

Southernmost point of the Land of Milk and Honey, where this Mike once hailed from
Well, southernmost mainland point, now that I think of it.

I don't see any hill
I do see the orange cap.
Mrmacey, if you are there in a boat, work that area by the point but far enough out so not to piss off the surfguys. There have been a few fish caught there over the years.
I wish I lived closer to there too.

I had coffee this morning with a guy who throws 800' seriously. I have seen him throw 750'.
the rip for the boats is out 2-300 yards anyway.

mr macey---Dave can throw across the Canal. Maybe not at the far east end (it's probably close to 900' wide down there), but in places where it's only 600' wide, he's done it.
Might be a little different throwing a plug from the rocks near the lighthouse, tho

When the wind is in your face there , you only have to cast 100 feet.

Sometimes not even that far Tattoo , I've caught bass there on eels 20 feet from the beach. I think I see the orange hat too , you better leave my bass alone . Oh well, a few more weeks and we can all give it a try, I just hope I can make it that long. BM will be in a straight jacket by then cuz of da no fish situation he's going thru, and there will be plenty of bass and plugs for all of us. Actually this year, I'm gonna spend alot more time there than in years past. Due to a promotion at work I work Sunday night , Monday night , and tuesday night from 7Pm -7Am, every Wednesday I'll be driving up for 4 nights on that beautiful stretch of heaven , I cant wait.

I caught my first bass on one of my homemade needles there on the first cast with it ever, the bass hit it 15' from the rocks. Habs told me to retire that plug. I did , even though it's ugly, but it was the right thing that night PARROT.

John, If I lived in Westerly I'd be out there every night of the week bro. That walk dont bother me in the slightest, and even if the fish dont chew that night there's always that thought in my head that "maybe this next cast will be the cast to last a lifetime".
