What do people think about the new Shimano Trevala rods?

I think they're too light for the size class we saw last year. I'm looking for a better jigging rod this year but don't want to break the bank. I'd like to stay under $300. Looking at VS, OTI or a custom cal stick

They make an Extra-Heavy power, medium-fast action, rated 80-200# line. Retail for $170 I think.

That's too light for what was out there last year?
