You got that right lol, I was dying watching you guys pl#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g bigger fish out over in that honeyhole , but I made a move and found some smaller 15-24# fish, actually a lot not some lol. Thanks to all who tuned me up with the info for my trip, the tips were put to good use.

Well I gotta admit that is the most awesome place I have ever fished along the east coast, Cutty does'nt even come close. We went over on the Thursday 8 AM ferry, and once we landed, we went scouting around the island and we were amazed by the amount of places to fish, there is no way to even describe the fishiness of these spots, and 3 nights there aint enough to do em all.

Thursday night we set out about 8:30 PM, walked down to Barlows and I hooked up first cast on a custom Parrot needle with a fish about 15#, what happened for the next 2 hours is a blur, I actually got tired of catching bass every cast and had to sit down for a smoke and a snack just to recover a bit (mind you we have'nt slept since I woke up wednesday AM, I was whooped). My 2 partners kept fishing and finally i rejoined em, kept catching fish for another hour or so then we left em to fish another spot. Went over by the poop chute and hammered fish till daybreak. The fish over there were all different sizes, some were 10# some were high teens low 20's, you could do no wrong. Finally get to our room around 7 AM on Friday AM, slept till dark, went out again this time over to Dories, beat em up over there real good, back to barlows, more fish, over to the chute, more fish, rinse and repeat. Place is on fire. I could go on and on about numbers but I wont, you get the idea. Friday night, we bumped into several guys who really got into nicer fish with the aid of wetsuits. One of my group joined em out on some distant rocks and did really well on fish into the low 30's, oh well, I'll get out there next time, wetsuit is on my list of items to buy right now. All in all we had a great time, caught lotsa fish and made a few memories. If you never been there you have no idea what you're missing, go now.
