So much crap

I don't think I have read so much crap on this
site as I have today. Youse young farts don't
know %$%$%$%$ about the Fall run of SB. As for that
nut case who thinks big bass are carrying eggs
now--he should read just a little on SB spawning
cycles. Or maybe not-- a little knowledge is
a dangerout thing. The best, the most abundant,
the most fruitful time to fish for big cows is now--
for the next two weeks. Anywhere that big cows
have been taken in the past will light up for the
next two weeks. If I hear any more crapola from
the grouse group I will personally rip off your head
and spit in the hole. And that is a promise.
Eels now, eels past, eels forever!!!!

The only fall runs that are over are those caused by too much beer at Octoberfest

Thank you, Johnny. The voice of reason from one who has seen many a fall run before the advent of internet fishing.

Gotta say, the mention of keeping egg laden cows before they had spawned had me scratching my head..... If they haven't spawned yet, they aren't going to this year, I believe...

and furthermore, the current usage is derived as an acronym for adulterers back in puritan times. It is derived from the charge:
for unlawful carnal knowledge. If you were "esfenken"ing another man's wife or an unmarried woman, you were put into the stockade with the accompying charge, shortened to just the first letters, thus our current word: FU**.

Common misconception. You're mixing up fenken, ficken, and fuchen.

You are correct, Cap

When you think about it, it seems to me there are few people who know the difference between a firken, a merkin and a half-kildirken anymore, either...

I dunno, I suppose it just comes with age and experience in life.........

I'll definitely be fishing til thanksgiving weekend. Do you other cape guys start to concentrate on saltpond type places or still in the big water? My experience has usually been that estuaries and little cove type places fish well in november, at least on the lower cape.
