As for showing off, lots of guys have much more and much higher quality. More a case of pulling out the de-liar, getting nostalgic, and deciding to liven things up. It's meant to be more about plugs than about me. Also motivation for me (and hopefully others) to start building some more.

I have a 60 and its 5 or 6 years old now. I never wash it off or take care of it. I test it a few times a year for accuracy and its always dead on. Carry it on a zinger on your belt and clip the gripper part on a caribiner so it crosses your back. One of the best pieces of gear you can buy. All I carry on my belt is a knife, pliers and boga, the weight never bothered me. Get the 60 boga so you can release those 40#ers!

R, can you explain a bit more how you carry the boga. What supports the handle end across your back. Is the zinger enough? What style zinger? Is your plug bag also attached to your belt? The reason I avoided a 60 or even 30 boga was that I couldn't bear to have it banging around on long walks over irregular terrain. |
