They would out fish any other artificial we would use (rapalas, power bait, etc). Caught tons of large mouth bass on them.......and they have a kick arse tune that goes with them. i'm not sure whats so special about them,,,,but
i was out in the boat on a reservoir in hopkinton and doing ok...
i am always lure hunting when i fish as a habit and noticed a soft plastic minow stuck in a bush....
i powered my way in there to get it just for fun....
it was a Banjo minnow...
i through it on my hook and checked out the action close to the boat just for the hell of it and a small bass slammed it.
so i proceeded to really fish the heck out of it and caught 45 more fish ... so i can highly attest to them working just as good as they say they do... and the only reason i quit catching fish on it was because by then it was shredded .....
