Trust me,,, that scenario would be the time of your life,,,,,

And if you were you would howl like a school girl too,,,,,,
Been there done that a bunch, I kinda go way back . We still spread out so we can enjoy the fish and not casting and fighting fish in each others way. Especially in big onshore winds. It's not like beach fish with no structure are stacked up in a 50 foot stretch of beach. Nothing attracts a fisherman like another fisherman hooked up.
Can't tell you how many times I would hook up, make "new" friends.
Move down the beach a bit for room, hook up, make " new "friends. Move down the beach again, for room, hook up . . . etc. . . etc.

Hell if we are snagged on the bottom from a boat people will come over to see what's going on. . . . it's nuts.

May fortune favor the foolish....

And some of the damn "new friends" just stick around and are still bothering you years later.

Good point. Although, I've had a couple "next mornings" that almost didn't go so well.

My comment was not so much based on the fishing but the camaraderie, literally having the opportunity to fish with good friends (not guys who just show up on the beach) who are all good anglers and enjoy something special,,,,,

Sometimes sharing with good friends can make for unforgettable events,,,,

that was all,,,,

Couldn't agree more, I am most fortunate to have had some fantastic fishing with very good people I am proud to call friends.

I seem to recall watching you pratice the art of making 'new friends' in September.

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.
