Today someone asked me why I got to the PISC show every year. This simple question really got me thinking, which is never a good thing before I have my morning medicinal quantity of caffeine.
First, there are a lot of shows. Some good, some bad, and some just to "commercial". Second, Life does not allow me to attend them all. But, the show that I never miss is the PISC show. Why?
- Because it is a true grass-roots show with great speakers.
- Because I can connect up with old friends and make new ones.
- Because being in the company of people who are as passionate about fishing as I am is priceless!
- Because no matter how much I think I know about winching up fish from submerged structures, I always learn something new that helps me land more quality fish.
- Because trolling from table to table always produces great catches.
- Because I go home with a full stomach without breaking the bank.
- Because the proceeds help the Jr's program, which introduce our youth to the great sport we all love.
