electrical system
mine did that !!!!

fading in and out ...stuttering

it's either spark or gas... it was spark related not gas

have him run a power test on the alternator/battery
to either rule that out... or in => takes 5 minutes

see what the bill is first...then if he tries to gouge you, just pay for the part that actually fixed the problem....hopefully he will treat you right....
these days with all the technology, why do we need to pay for troublshooting????

new truck - no way. at 137k it's just getting broken in. gary it's a 2003
my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

Niko, it suck when guys do this that don't know what they are doing.

But you need to change the title to Truck/Parts Replacer, as guy,s like this who have no clue how to fix a paper airplane call themselves Mechanics.
