Friends of Mine that hungs 4S off the back have to use alot of Tab, or even but wieght up front, anchor...
I loved my 21, Never Ever did I feel unsafe in it and I ran out in just about everything, never missed a commercial day, tourney cause of weather. Rarely did I ever cancel a charter. Its an awesome handling boat in rough weather. i looked forward to fishing 20 Knots Plus.... I did have two near sinkings, but that was my fault... Went bigger to save the back and joints some, and to make my charters a much more pleasure... My first motor on that 21 had 2000 hours, I had way, way more anchor / drift time on her... Definately miss that boat.... And I would not put a TTOP on that boat! I dont know of a better riding true 21 on the Market, that 24.5 degree dead rise is awesome.... No other boat has it in its class.
The 21' contender is an awesome boat.Keith has a 23T and he knows how to run it as he fishes and charters quite a bit.Like I said, contender is a great boat to fish out of and a bargain too when you consider the features.Didn't your 21 have a 300 4 stroke?

I didnt know you were talking about Kieth, I know he know what hes doing. Big difference in boats, every model runs different depending on the power options they were ORIGINALLY designed for... You sure it is the 23T?? Lori Marie is a 25 Open I thought for sure? What year is his boat and power? I know hes had the boat a while...I thought he had F250's on there. That boat was originally designed for 200 HPDIs... Reason I ask is they were hanging 4 strokes on the Pre 2006 models and it was to much wieght so they redesigned the 25 Open Hull in 06 to the New G2 Hull. 1300 lb motors is a lot of wieght back there. Throw another 385lbs of water in the livewell.. Or does he have the 23T with twin 200 HPDIs?? The Pre G2 hull was NOT designed for the additional wieght of the four strokes...I went with the 25 this year with the F250's. Still economical and easy to trailer. My 21 originally had a 200 HPDI, then I repowered with a 300HPDI, got a good price on it and the 200 was getting tired....

maybe it is the 25,I don't know but it is fast and well equipped.I hope I get 2000 hours out of my 200 hpdi.

On a different note, try not to take my cup ramblings too seriously. I have been a member here a long time and like to bust on some guys for fun.We even fish together on occasion.I'd consider leaving Team Striper but Coletti won't let me out of my contract.

I am pretty sure it is the 25... I know he has been running a 25 since at least 03. I dont know what he did after that "Fog" incident. I know he used to have 200's. Not sure what year his hull is now and power... Does he even charter any More??? 2000 hours should not be an issue, keep up with the VST, clean that filter Every year, and make sure You use a semi synthetic oil... Penzoil semi synthetic is what I used from TheOilStore.com... Kieth's web site has been down a long time.... 10 years a member here come October!as far as the striper Cup, Its all in Fun, we bust eachothers balls all the time... You do know we are not going to make it easy for you for a threepeat! I know you guys did some recruiting and all ;-) Even signed one of my buddies! Competition keeps us young and dont get me wrong, we dont want it easy either! I assure you We are gonna hit hard from the Start! Now if you did want sponsorship deals should of talked to me! Any help with the HPDI just PM me...

I'm counting on Krispy! We actually do have a few more surf rats this year.... It's important to have a well balanced team that covers more than one state. Never know what will happen with the migrational patterns... Heard you guys picked up some surf guys too!
