That set of guides should work. I have the lamiglas XRA 1205 and I used 10, 10, 12, 12, 16, 16, 20, 25 Hardloy with a 12 ring PST tip. I use either a 7000C3 or a 6600C5 mag with this rod. This set-up has worked very well. If your fishing on rocks I would stick with the Hardloy guide but I would use a PST tip no matter what.
