My sister is staying out in Montauk for the weekend and I am taking my 14 yo nephew out. I don't know how I agreed to this ( )but the kid just caught his first shore caught bass the other day and it was a keeper. Now he has the jones.
Traffic WILL suck but as long as there is a fish involved it will be ok.
Grew up on LI , relocated to Upstate NY..wife and kids love the cape so screw the traffic...nothing better in my book than trying to get a striper off the beach...and hoping with time I'll get one. Best part is the 12 year old is into it as well
