...i think the lesson for me is never to grab the plug to stabilize the fish...because as i grabbed the plug (a spook with 2 trebles) the fish frenzied and the free belly treble caught my hand as my hand slipped off the plug...

yikes looks nasty doc! glad the fishing was good though!

That happened to me a couple years back (not that bad though) and ever since then I used a lip gripper (the plastic kind, not a boga, I think you've seen me with it) to unhook fish caught on plugs, I highly recommend it!
