Change your line and use braid. I prefer 50# power pro.
Check the roller on your bail to ensure it is moving and not seized up. Causes line twist.

Ty,
30 pound mono is on a spinning reel is too heavy IMO. Best to drop down to 20 pound mono if your plugging with different weight lures. That will help. Like Redlite said - braid is also an option.
