everything jimmy says i agree 100%.look at all the states nobody mfg. anything here,factories vacant,no jobs,big cities in decline.ct dept of transportation ordering trains from japan,can't get it through my head why can't we do it here and employ thousands,why our auto's were big time employers now their dead-we all could go on and on.sorry state of affairs in the usa-even our american beer is foreign owned.

Why? When you have a capatalistic society that depends on economic growth, everyone
expects to make more money. Because of this everything gets more expensive. Working people then request more money from their employers.... The employers raise their prices and the cycle continues. Unfortunately, with globalization, the cycle has been broken and our labor force's wages have not risen to follow the costs of living. If you own the company that's outsourcing to china, you are getting richer, but everyone else is just going to get poorer every year from inflation.

If the trend of American workers working harder for less continues, I see a return of the Unions as a power. I also see real Socialism making a foothold. Our "captains of industry" are guarenteeing this by shipping jobs overseas and turning a blind eye to illegal workers. While at the same time taxing the life out of those who aren't on the dole. There'll be blood.
