Was at the canal last Wednesday morning. About 7:30 or so, I saw a bit of an oil slick go by.....nothing major, but I did notice it.

About 20 minutes later, a HUGE barge, being pushed by a HUGE tug, went by heading eastbound. The were accompanied by the "Canal Guardian".....both the tug and the barge had the Bouchard name on them....

The yells and screams from the guys fishing were all "GO HOME, YOU F*#@*ing ARSEHOLES!" and whole lot's of birds being flipped.

Doubt highly that it was "THE" barge, as last I heard, it was tied up at the Academy before it was supposed to head to NYC.....so I don't think it would be headed east.

I jokingly said to Paul "Watch them take out the Sagamore!"

Funny thing was, about an hour after that, a Coast Guard jet went over head, and I said, again, jokingly "Oh great, it sunk!"

About an hour after that, the Canal Guardian came back on it's own the other way, so evidently they made it out to Cape Cod Bay without incident......
