Mike try fishing with a reel that doesn't scare the fish and everything within a mile radius. That might help a bit.

I do a lot of freshwater fishing and it has been bad for that too.
I remember a lot of days this summer getting blown around.
Wind would usaully die out around 4-5 pm in the past, but this year it was just windy all the time it seems....
Almost got blown off the lake today. Went out for some trout andn it was brutal. Tomorrow looks windy too.
