Fri Night
W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 35 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
Sat
W winds 15 to 20 kt...diminishing to 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.
Sun
SW winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming E after midnight. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Seas are reported as significant wave height...which is the average of the highest third of the waves. Individual wave heights may be more than twice the significant wave height. This product is normally issued twice daily at approximately 4 am and 4 PM...and updated as conditions warrant.
I agree, Sunday is looking better. I don't like gusts to 30 out cuttyhunk way it always seems to be steady at 30 and not just gusting. It will get too nasty. A steady 30 will be 6' swells and a nasty chop on top of that when the wind is against the tide where I was yesterday.
This wind forecasts changes sometimes every 4 hours so don't put a lot a faith in it. I had planned on my brother visiting me and bass fishing because the forecast was 5-10...well when he got here it blew 40+ and they could not have been more wrong.
Personally I think you need to be ready to go and call it the day before you go and those that can make it great and those that can't well, there is always next time.

If all is well, what time and were we going out of?
For me Fairhaven/ New Bedford ramp. Middle St. is best.

If you guys do go Sunday, looks like I'll be in, unless the forecast changes for the worse.
Haven't been out in 2 weeks and the boat is being hauled on the 30th so I am itchin to go. The last time we went, it was hot.

I'm checking my crew's availability on Sunday. Let "you" know soon whether still a full crew or openings for Sunday.

If they call for a decent day I should be able to go and probably have room for a couple Sb- ers but I will not commit until sat so I don't want to promise something I can not deliver on. Let's wait till sat to see how it looks for Sunday

Like Paul said I still need a ride. I live right down the street from Maco's and work in New Bedford only a few minutes from Never Home so I can pick up Crabs Friday if we need them.

I've still got a full crew, crabs on order to be picked up Saturday. I think the Middle St launch in Fairhaven is going to be busy Sunday morning!

Maco...It's not a good idea to post stuff like that!!
Buzzards Bay-
Today
W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas around 2 ft.
Tonight
W winds 15 to 20 kt...diminishing to 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas around 2 ft.
Sat
W winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas around 2 ft.
Sat Night
W winds 5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 20 kt...becoming N after midnight. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
Sun
S winds 5 to 10 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 1 foot or less.
Sun Night
SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas around 2 ft.
Keeping my fingers crossed, looks OK for Sunday.
Fueled up in Falmouth yesterday, and the sound was 59.1 degrees...fishing should be improving out there.

We should prob firm up the following issues:
Barring any wind forecast changes (which is always possible)
1) Is Sunday good for you OR would your rather put it off a week until next weekend?
2) Are you taking your boat?
2a) If so, are you full or can you take non-boating angler(s) ?
3) Are you a Togfest angler who needs a boat to fish on?

My response
1) Sunday is OK for me, but I would be willing to hold off as well. I would like to see Goose make it.
2) Yes taking my boat
2a) I would be willing to swing by Woods Hole on Sunday morning (around 7:30am) and pick up 2 (polite) sb.com fishermen. I will probably have a friend or two on board already. Bring your own rod and lunch, I have plenty of bait. (I have spare rods and gear if things go bad) No booze or drugs aboard. I expect we will be back in WH early afternoon (2-ish?) This is not a charter, it is free, i will not accept money.
3) N/A

1) Sunday Works or me.
2) N/A.
3) Need a boat to fish on. Can meet people anywhere at anytime.

1- sunday looks like the day weatherwise. 2- i am not taking my boat and have hoed a ride on fish4stripers. nice. looks like we got 6 or 7 boats in. are we all fishing the same spot? if someone is fishing that spot they are going to poop themselves when they see us coming . i know a couple of the guys want to raft up. marshcappa is having his oyster friend save green crabs, if we have any extra i'll let you guys know

I would like to get in on this if possible. I haven't boat fished all year. HAve own gear.
I am TERRIBLE at catchin Tog, very entertaining to watch (don't drop rod tip when feel hit), but am a master baiter for every one else, so I do have some use.
I don't want any of the fish, so who ever's boat I am able to go on gets to keep my catch.
Can meet anytime, anywhere as well.
As long as I don't have to be on same boat as Angler229.........
Dan, last resort we can go buy one of those blow up boats and get towed out by someone??????
