Had fun with you guys out there today. Did not hammer them like other days but it was a great day. We had 12 keepers and a bunch of smaller fish. The largest was about 7#

That is a nice fish Derek!

Now before you all say I am spot burning with the photo below...I would not worry too much about it. Why? You better be right on this spot or you will not get squat! I was 30' next to them and we watched them bail fish while we picked away at a few small fish.

Truly a great tIme. Thank you Sandman. The boat is INCREDIBLE.
Steve (owner of #^&#^&#^&#^&'s Tackle) taught us all how to restrain ourselves and catch Taug Fish4striper's crew showed us how important it is to have a diver down there hookin fish on for you when another boat pulls up and is takin pictures.
Weather was great and we caught fish and some good laughs.
Awesome time.

a few tog questions - the bigger ones seem to be blowing up through the vent. are they going to survive this or are they automaticly keepers? the smaller ones doesnt seem to happen as much. should i just vent them w/ a needle? is this "the bends" even in 30' of water. i don't really want to keep any more this season but would still like to fish for them a few times but don't like the idea of wasting fish that are released to die anyway. and thanks jeff, good time as usuall bro. in april we'll do one of these for cod and haddock

Paul,

Hope this helps answer your questions about venting? Also included some general info about tog.

I would like to thank PRBuzz (Phil) for a great day on the water. It was also nice to meet his son Adam and OD Mike. Great crew and we really put a hurting on the tog. I think my alter ego "Ryan" caught all those fish. He is a stealth ninja when it comes to toggin. We'll have to do it again sometime.

HAMMER TIME!

Kippy,
It was a good day! Had a lot of fun fishing with the crew! Thanks for all the advice on baiting the crabs and the techniques of setting the hook. If it wasn't for "Ryan" I may never caught a tog....

Thanks again,
Mike

No problem Mike, you certainly got the hang of it pretty quick. Ryan must be a great teacher!

Tony what do you do? Ryan teaches others and catches all the fish!

(for those lost in this discussion it is one of those that what happens on the boat stays on the boat things)
