That was my call too. We used to have one (with a tower).

Chris craft use to make a similar looking boat but that to me looks different...looks more like an old blackfin hull that was modified into a CC.
Nice job too. The name on that boat should be "sweat equity" because the labor to do what he did to that was substantial.

If you inter-bread a cape cod 26 (single diesel) with a Jupiter you would have that boat!

Fiberglass or wood?
Bow and lines look like an older 33' Century if it was chopped.

This is a 26ft Chris Craft that was Tautog's boat prior to the Blackfin 29. "Rhodes Runner" She ended up down in FL when he sold her.

26ft Chris Craft. was a cuddy/express type. A previous owner had put the tower and canvis on it. Small cuddy down below. Easily could see it as a walk-around, especially if the original layout was no tower and canvas....

twin gas inboards, otherwise a good boat. we killed a serious amount of Blackfish in that boat back in the day, and was a very nimble little 26.

Tautog is on buisness down in Fl this week. when he gets back, he might remember the original model.

Back to the on/off topic. The volvo ocean race last year had some of the boats reaching 50 knots.
