I have to 11' MH SSU's. Both work well, casting and retrieving with a load going both ways. I have five arra's that I used under various conditions also. 11' SSU's are more sensitive. I broke one of ten inches up from the bottom falling with it. I repaired it and it works as well as before.

thanks for your feedback on the 11ft'er. curious, what do you have paired with that rod? Are you launching pencils with it?

I either have a 706 or 704 on my 10ft'er depending on which one is running smoother that day, lol. This is an ideal set-up for trying to reach breaking fish in the canal, not. but it gets the job done in that regard. I really like it for fishing big plugs and big eels in the RI surf. had a VS 250 on it at one point and it felt great, but the reel ended up being a dud. went back to my workhorses and love this combo...
