I use a vs 200 on my 11' but also use a EmPro on it when i fish the canal. It launches with the Empro, and is just fine with the 200. However, i would like to have a 250 hanging on it instead, it doesnt balance all that well with the 200, but balance is over rated in my opinion.

Everything is better on the rocks.

I agree about balance. I used to fish a 704 on a GLoomis 1084. same with a 9ft factory breakaway. not very comfortable to fish but great combos for rigged slug-gos once your wrist get used to the abuse...

According to Van Staal's specs, there's only a half ounce difference in weight between the 200 and 250. I also own both and you couldn't tell them apart if you picked them up blindfolded.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

We have a few of the Lamiglas SSU Factory series on closeout
1 of the 11' 1321MH 1pc $299.95.
3 of the 10' 121MH 1pc $274.95

Pick up only because of the length.
