Unfortunately that has to happen for them to listen. They get bored of the safety speeches until something happens. Fortunately the incident was minor. I bet now he'll pay a bit of extra attention when you advise him....let me know when your heading down again. Ty is experienced down there and always ready to go.

I try explaining to my son to pay attention and I know he does, but not enough.

Ive had some really fun afternoons into evenings down there, it can go off anytime, anywhere if the conditions are right. BTW i need another safety speech, I busted my azz so hard yesterday on a perfectly flat rock. felt like i broke my hip, ouch. the studs on my shoes r falling out

something clever and related to fishing

C'mon now. How many of you "grown ups" have worn hippers and not gotten wet at least half the time?

You're not alone Johnny..... Took two wipe outs within two minutes of each other the other morning. One on the grass and one on the rocks...
