From the names on that list of arrests, it looks like the RI DEM has been profiling.

theres more than a few spots that i park at were the scuppers are taking everything in site, 5 gallon white buckets filled with scup the size of your hand.

ive called DEM a few times, these people have no respect for the sport or the areas they fish, trash everywhere, line, cigarette butts, etc.

these are the people who are going to cause us to lose access to great fishing spots. nevermind the damage theyre doing to the future of the sport.

Picking on the Brockton people?

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Are you saying that there are a lot of people from Brockton who may not understand the laws because they don't speak English so well?

That reminds me. I need to call your friend Arthur back today.

Is there any connection between the no-salt license citations and the beach/park/mgmt area citations?
Seems that they would go hand in hand, or at least influence each others' resulting citations, since most bucket-brigaders are known to drink and litter based on the complaints we hear on this site.

I know there are quite a few guys that fished with Rob Taylor on this board, curious to know if he falls under the new poaching laws in RI??? I believe the law was passed in July and he got arrested in August. From what I hear it was a substantial amount of bass, enough to make Big Al Blush!!!! I wonder why it was kept so quiet? I mean this was OTW's golden boy, sponsered by Quantum Reels. Will OTW step up and and strip him of any awards??? We are not talking Buckets of Scup here... I think first offense fine is in the thousands and possible jail time??????

Sounds good to me. Not sure if that applies to all or only the people that don't have lawyers. This sounds like a perfect place for mandatory minimums.

Everything is better on the rocks.
