Eff that! No way I'm letting Sauerkraut finish with the last fish.

I'm entering this one, maybe 18", and don't give me no crap about it being over maximum size for the smallest fish. This is a genuine, no two ways around it, puny fish.....caught on the heaviest, most powerful tackle I own.

Some one has to set the low bar, too, and I'm the guy to do it.

Aw come on now. Don't be so hard on yourself. I would say that fish looks like at least 19"

Nice fish George, hope you had the drag screwed down on that cow. That's the kind of fish that keeps you going for a while.

May fortune favor the foolish....

Shame it's bass-only. A few days ago I caught a 10" herring on a 7" ss pink darter while drifting under tension in a breachway. Not foul-hooked, the thing straight-up tried to eat the plug. Hooked through the lip on the front treble.

Probably a hickory shad. They hit plugs.

A little more than one week left with three categories still in play and some priceless works of folk art (or failed experiments if you prefer) up for grabs:

Go real big...

Go real small...

Go real late...

Just #^&#^&#^&#^&ing goooo!!!

I had a go at it on Sat afternoon in WH. Nada but i did see birds working bait just out of casting range. I had bait following my plug so I was hopeful but no strikes. Can I file an extension?
