I've switched to the cabelas ultra lights, 50 bucks and a great warranty.

Comfy, great ankle support and pretty light for a good solid boot.

Im lucky if I get more than one season out of my boots (April to December) so spending more than 100 bucks seems pointless.

I think I've had the chota's 3 yrs. ,,, I wear them down the canal too with cabela's breathable stocking foot hip boots.. So I got a lot of use out of them .. seeing what else is out there .

Just bought the Cabelas $79.00 boots. I put wearbar studs in the soles even though they came with some kind of crummy studs. I'll let you know how they hold up. I had Beans that lasted 8 years but I didn't work them hard.

No boat, back in the suds.
