Tiny trailer I have BigBo....300-400 pound weight limit....I have a title!

I'd be willing to bet it's not a title. You usually get issued a Certificate of Origin with a new trailer. It looks a lot like a title, but really isn't. I've bought, sold, and owned many trailers over the years.
Even on the outside chance that you do have a title, it's not required in order to sell the trailer or for the new (purchaser) owner to get a title with the sale in order to register the trailer. Unless it's 3000# or more.
This is all fact and can be verified through the RMV.

Interesting BigBo

i read a post from a guy in OHIO saying it was 4000# in his state
which is why i asked the question here at S-B since the RMV doesn't answer their phones too quick

Every state has different laws regarding titling and registration. What I posted is strictly for MA

Back in 2009 I purchased a boat and trailer package used from someone and all I had was a bill of sale. What I ended up doing was telling the registry that the trailer was home made and they just had me pay registration fees. The boat on the other hand had to get titled and they just went by the bill of sale and charged me a title fee.
