I am married to a freikin saint, she'd have to be to put up with me. First time we ever went away together (22 years ago) was to Maho Bay Camp Ground on Saint John. Absolutlely one of the nicest islands, 3/4 of it is a national forest but you better bring some hardcore deet (the mosquitos ate her alive). The tent platforms are up in trees along a wooden walkway slightly above the ground. Great place for island hopping (St. Thomas, Tortola, Joost van dyke) and an Eco minded place with an early quiet time so you can hear the jungle at night. Prices have gone up though but very cool place, I would like to get back there with the kids someday. BTW there is a Westin resort down the road.
