I passed the camping torch to my son & soon-to-be daughter in law, along with all the gear! They even go to the same campsites we went to 25yrs ago. If anyone interested: Cathedral Pines in Eustice ME. Located on a 20mi long lake, Flagstaff, which feeds the Dead River.

Yup. At least my wife loves to go with me. Not sure I'd call it camping though.

The canoe is/was my cargo carrier, all loaded with gear! You should have seen the Chevy Celebrity wagon before the van!

Looking at those pictures, all you are missing is the Crazy Aunt strapped to her rocking chair on the roof..

S-B Camping trip - would need to be Family Friendly (no booze or other stuff) and adjacent to a body of water but it sounds pretty cool

MV camp ground is about 1.5 miles from the Vineyard Haven ferry on Edgartown Rd.

Salisbury Beach State Reservation
Scusset Beach State Campground

Either would require some "red Solo cups" as alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
