One has to consider that other fishing hosts have zero personality. He has a personality, and it fits, because it's an obnoxious one. Who is Charlie Moore? He's the personification of every loud mouth, sports-obsessed, ex-high school jock, Massolio, that bumps into you in a sports bar in Scituate and puts on a bad-ass act over the non-event.
There are plenty of middle aged fat Irish bastids that identify with him, they'll be tailgating you on the Mass Pike and 128 Monday morning and spouting off by the water cooler about how great the Sawx were when they were mostly white guys.

I always thought the (self proclaimed) internet hero on the Charlie Moore joint would be a great episode. Never quite sure how it might have ended though, but figured it would be highly entertaining none the less.
