Spot Burning to the Nth degree!

Wow, I am fired up. It really ticks me off when in confidence you share a spot with a “friend”. A spot that I have been learning and studying for the past 7 years. During that time, I can count one hand the number of boats fishing in that area. Then last spring I called my “friend” to tell him I was on fish. Within a half hour several boats including a charter boat were fishing the spot. Boats that until that day never even looked at the spot ruined the entire spring.

Yesterday, I get several emails from my TRUE FRIENDS containing web address for a FishingTheOcean State TV show highlighting the “HONEY HOLE”.

I learned my lesson the hard way. Do not share your spots with your so-called friends.

Hopefully, this message saves one of you from making this mistake. Take your cherished spots to your grave.

I pray dear fish god that my "friend" will have an empty fish box for many seasons to come.

1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN.

I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock.

2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.
