Hat trick in the surf

fished with decksweeper last night in a new location

spooky with all that fog

well anyway, i was fortunate enough to watch decksweeper nail a hat trick in the surf

big bluefish.....about 33"
bass..............17-20# class

and then he sets up on a fish.....i hear the drag going slow but steady...

ask if he needs a hand with that one and he says ....ya, I think so


after a 4 to 5 minute battle and me hopping a couple of dozen rocks to get over to him and land the fish.....the fish is in close....the lights come on

A SHARK.........5-6 foot range

not a dogfish....caught enought of them on the boats to realize it was not

here's the real question

what kind of sharks roam ther rocks...have no clue what it was

it was not a baby blue...............so what kind do you think it was

anyway...cool night
