Pictures are of poor quality but what a NICE FISH!

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Just think. That fish was born in 1977 or there about.

No boat, back in the suds.

Oh my!What a fish!
Perhaps this should be the begining of another thread but I will pose the question here.
If you caught that fish in the surf and didn't have a massive heart attack when you turned on your light, and was able to land it.Would you keep it or release it?

Indeed it was Scott. 77 was pretty much at the beginning of the dramatic down turn in the population. From then until 90 or 91 we sucked wind trying to find fish in the surf. the boat guys still had some but the stocks were really depleted.

No boat, back in the suds.

heres a good question.. how many time do you think that thing had been caught before? it's amazing to think all those schoolies we toss back have a chance at becoming that.

That thing is a monster...I wonder if that fish was traveling in the company of smaller fish or if it was in a school of similarly sized behemoths. Wow. That is some fish!

Would have been cool if it was. I'd hump that fish after landing it then have it mounted so I could just sit there and stare at it.

Why even try.........
