The "It's On!" early season large challenge

Everybody's foaming at the mouth for the first large migrant fish. We'll get a few here and there until May 15th or so, then things should break wide open for numbers in the RI/Se Mass area, just like it always does.

Here's how to play:

1. Contest runs April 18 until Memorial Day.

2. Largest shore caught striped bass takes the cake.

3. You must provide sufficient proof of your catch such as a photo and/or weight slip. Use a scale if you have it or tape measure to add credibility if you release the fish...no need to kill the fish for a silly plug.

4. Don't bore me with "formula fish" as everybody knows the average fisherman can't measure a fish correctly anyways and thus, the "formula" is essentially meaningless to me...

5. Largest fish by weight will get a BB custom plug of your choice. In the event of a tie for weight, I'll go by length.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind
