I'm usually not the type to drive all over the state looking for em so my backup plan...sit down throw some chunks out have a few enjoy the stars & scenery....

Just this monday Island Girl and I were throwing plugs for a good hour or or so...for nothing so instead of moving or giving up... I threw on some chunks to soak. I/G and I just about had enough so I get up to reel in the bait...when....bam!

this fish took off. Not the biggest but definetly an enjoyable night.. Probably would not have gotten it (we both would have quit by then) if we were just throwing plugs all night...

I rarely chunk but its nice to use as a backup plan. Makes for a relaxing and enjoyable night rather than just a boring/frustrating one...

Bait at night is the best. I have yet to be skunked, but I have yet to get that keeper.
