Wasn't there a thread on here not too long ago about someone catching thieves red handed? Not sure what happened but thrashing them to a pulp was thought to have occurred. Too bad you can't use lethal force to protect property in this state.

I'd rather them take my stuff than confront the thievery in progress because the snubnose WILL come out barking. I don't want to go to jail over a few hundred dollars and I'm a terrible actor.

I had a situation in 2001 where I was in a bar and a guy walked in and asked who has the grey explorer outside - I said me - he said well there is a young punk hanging out the window. I ran out and confronted him. No fight I made him put back my Digital Camera and cd's he had on him and waited for the Yardley PA police.

Man I wanted to bust his jaw on my bumper. I am glad I didn't he probably woulda sued me. If he was older I probably woulda pounded the piss put of him and suffered the consequences.

Ride the spiral to the end...............

The best advice I can offer up here is to bring only what you need, don't store anything of value in your vehicle. I used to have a cooler rack on the front of my explorer to keep the stink down inside, but never use it anymore due to theft concerns. My cooler goes inside the rear compartment. If they steal the vehicle, oh well, you tried.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Wink

I've promised my self to cast on thieves if I catch them in the act. If I'm walking up from the sand and they're futzing with my truck they're gonna get foul hooked hard. A-40 and locked drag. We'll talk when I'm done playing them.

He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.
