There are a few lakes in Indiana that have stripers and/or hybrid stripers. Monroe and Patoka come to mind. Ohio River also. Lake fishing this time of year is mostly trolling with either live bait or bucktails. The stripers typically start going deep in summer. Pretty much a catch and keep deal as they will not survive the warm water. Late summer to fall, he might run into some "jump" action (freshwater version of a blitz).
