OK, times up.
I am just a skosh under 5' 10". I weigh 202.
The fish weighed, on 3 different scales, one cerified, all digital.
31 and 1/2 pounds.
It takes a really BIG fish to make 40.
It was a nice fish and a great fight but 31lbs 6 oz is the weight.

With that belly I would have guessed a lot more, 40# anyway. Still, a wicked nice fish.
