He has the Med 10 ft rod -100M2 with a rating of something like 1-3 1/2oz.

His reel becomes mis-aigned with the guides due to rotation (he uses a vs200) maybe this doesn't happen with a Shimano reel. If you get this rod balance with the reel of your choice and then put a dab of silicone on the screw-in butt cap so you don't loose the weights and cap as well.

I personally wouldn't pay that kind of money for a factory rod made outside the USA. It has too many "features" that could be problematic.

After attaching the Vs to that rod I'm going with a Lami. The sliding seat seemed like a great idea but your right. It doesn't lock correctly and the reel was not aligning. Thanks guys.
